I might get Vista in the new year, and of course a whole system upgrade. If I get Vista is it legal and good for my gaming (no crashes, etc) to just copy over the EQ2 entire folder? If not is there a way for me to get a free full copy? Because I got my full copy from the Vanguard flunking out offer, could I get that full copy again by just installing it again from the thing I got and it will auto-update? Or do I need to install the expansions and adventure packs because by '08 the offer would be over?

![]() You can upgrade the OS just fine without reloading EQ. If you DID want to reload it I'm sure you can still download it from the same spot you got it last time. |

I have upgraded or added EQ2 to new computers several times all you have to do is copy the EQ2 folder to your new PC, and then create a short-cut of the EQ2 launcher program to your Desktop or where ever you launch it from. Just be shure it is a SHORTCUT and not a move as if you move it to say your desktop the patch will start downloading the whole game and placing those files on your desktop.

Or, if need be, you can re-download the whole ball of wax here: here can I download the installer? SOE already has it registered to your Station account.
