Armor Idea

Let everyone wear whatever armor they want to... but with a negative hit. AKA if a Conjurer were to wear plate armor, their spells would slow down in casting... because it would be harder to move your armos under all of that armor. Maybe they could take a hit to their intelligence too. I mean what kind of magic can prevent someone from at least wearing a piece of armor?
