First, if you got any picture of your shadowknight, feel free to post is along your post, would love to see them. I've recently started playing EQ2 again, and i'am going to start on a new character i think. One of those on my list is the ShadowKnight, so i got some questions i would like to get an answer on. - Soloing, i've heard every class can solo, but how well dose the shadowknight solo? - Grouping, are shadowknight wanted in groups? if so, what are our role?(tanking i guess?) - What type of weapons can the shadowknight use? and what is the most used weapon type for the shadowknight?(swords?) - PvP, how good are shadowknight at both 1on1 pvp and group pvp?(not going to play on a pvp server, but i would just like to know) - Do we have any fancy/funny skills/spells we get? - I've heard shadowknight can spawn some kind of pet? is this false or? if not, what kind of pet is it? and can it be used to inflict harm? - Are the shadowknight able to do damage to more than 1 enemy at once? thinking of AOE. - Feel free to add some info you think i should know about the class. Thats what i can come up with for now, hopefully someone can give me some answers.

![]() Saw your same post over in Bruiser's forum, but didn't want to invade their territory SK's are great. Really, like awesome. We do extremely well solo, especially at higher levels when you've got good gear/aa/adept3's. We have a good amount of lifetaps that really help turn the tide of battle. As well as a feign death that can let you semi-flop your way to a named mob instead of bull-dozing your way there. We make good tanks or pretty decent dps for grouping, but it's sometimes hard to over-come the stigma that people only want warriors for tanking, or scouts/mages for dps. Raiding it's even more difficult. We can use all weapons except fist/staff weapons if I remember correctly. We can now use axes and bows (couldn't at game launch), as well as spears, swords, crushing one and two handers. If you're DPS you're useing a two-hander for the slow speed, or the slowest one hander you can find. Can't really comment on SK PvP other than what I've heard, and the word is, we're pretty good. We have the typical fluff spells that other classes got in the first 50 levels, as well as some really nifty, and original spells after that, such as Death March. And then there's the Harm Touch, which is a one shot every 15 minute high damage spell. We get a DoT in the form of a semi-pet. It can be killed, has a duration, and will only attack the target you cast it upon. We have amazing AE ability. I think I have 6 or 7, can't remember the exact count. Tap veins is one of our most renowned, AE lifetap. FUN. Hope this helped. |

Thanks for the answers so far, i've already made myself an barbarian SK, lvl 6 so far. Only thing i'am a bit unsure about now is if i really like being a barbarian, wondering about changing race maybe but not sure yet. Think SK is the class i'am gonna stay with, or atlast it seems to be the one so far. Anyway feel free to post your opinion/answers to the question, the more the better =)
