My friend is having some weird issues with her graphics in game, and I was hoping someone here might have an idea.  She has a Nvidia Geforce 7900 video card, and she's tried reinstalling the drivers for the video card, shes updated the bios on her motherboard, and she doesnt know if its her video card going bad, or if it could be something else.  She sent me a screenshot that I'm posting, and if anyone wants to see more, I can get them.  The first pic is just in Qeynos Harbor and is recent... the 2nd one is an older pic of her in Sinking Sands, but she was actually physically at the docks, although the screenshot doesnt appear that she is... was part of her video problem.   If anyone has any ideas what it could be, if you've maybe had a similar issue and could let me know what you did to fix it or what it was, I would appreciate it.

Hmm... I've had the SS problem happen to me once (tho it was resolved when I logged off and restarted EQ).

Does she have this problem (as per the first screenshot) in every zone? Or just QH? If it's just specific zones, then perhaps by deleting the pak files for them and letting the patcher re-download them will fix it.

Has she tried installing older / newer video drivers? Re-installing the same video drivers might not fix anything (assuming it's a driver issue).

If this problem has been persistent however, then I would be inclined to believe it's a bad card...

I used to have a 7900 GTX and experienced the exact same thing. If you google for nvidia 7900, texture errors and/or RMA you will find TONS of forum posts and annoyed people who own a 7900 card and have the same problemin many, many different games. A lot of 7900 cards are defective and will produce said texture errors. It's very unlikely that it is a driver issue. Try returning it or RMA it directly to the manufacturer because in most of those cases experiencing textures errors with a 7900 card it is a hardware error and cannot be "fixed" by changing drivers or other things in your system.
