For those of us who are always looking for kitchen items, the new Bowl of Growth from The Battle of Cauldron Hollow is nice. Here, I've buried the base in my kitchen counter. It would work well as a centerpiece for a table too. :smileyhappy:

The quest is the Battle of Cauldron Hollow. Qeynos version starts at the Druid ring that recently appeared in Antonica, in the woods down the hill from the spire. This thread has a walkthrough:http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=quest&message.id=122033&view=by_date_ascending&page=2

Although the book looks cool, it's kinda sad that Freeport never gets pretty rewards like the bowl. Can an evil character do the Tunare version of this? Or can you make a newbie character and do the quest and smuggle a bowl in like the flowers from Qeynos?Actually, I'd like to be able to do the bowl quest a few times. I"m hoping they leave this in the game for awhile.

Okay, so a Freeportian citizen can't do the quest for Tunare's Bowl. You can talk to her representative, but cannot get the quest. I sort of figured that evil characters couldn't, but I wanted to be certain.I did, however, make a newbie high elf character, run her up to the druid ring and got the quest that way. I think the Tunare one is harder than the one for Innoruuk's book - which I completed easily on the first try. In the Tunare's Bowl version, the dragoons tend to swarm you if you get the least bit too far ahead of your ranger forces. So, hang back and let them do most of the work. I just concentrated mostly on assisting them in taking the dragoon's down, and if I got attacked, headed over to a small band of rangers for them to assist me.When you pull the Commander, creep up close enough to use snare to pull, then fire a multi-shot at him and immolate. Heal yourself on the way back. I went toe to toe once I had him pulled back and made sure to heal myself. Your troops won't help you kill your main target. Bonus for making a high elf to do this was that I then did the Greenwisp quest and snuck both items into Freeport where my teir'dal necromancer immediately sacrificed her as payment for her betrayal to Qeynos. :smileyvery-happy:I plan to do this several more times. *evil cackle*
