What is a good server to find groups.

I have been on the verge of quitting EQ2 bbecasue everythimme I log in It is veritually impossible to find a group to play with. I had been an original player for EQ2, but had quit for aobut a year or so, when I came back everything had changed dramatically, but now Im on a server that never has anyone to grooup with and its getting real old. Can anyone direct me to a server that has a good population on it. I play on EST as well, if it matters.

What server are you on now? Are you in a guild? Do you try to make your own groups? Do you send out blind group invites? What class are you? What level are you?

What is the population like on the server that you use at the time you log on?

I'm in Australia and usually play between 6 - 11pm week nights and various times on the weekend.

I tried Splitpaw when I first started, but it did not have many people on line at the times I was using EQ2.

When I created a new Class I checked out the server list to see which servers had higher traffic levels (medium to heavy) at the time I would usually play, picked that server (Najena) and have been happily grouping ever since.

Najena has very friendly people, some great guilds and is well suited to what I wanted from a server.

It can be different depending on what you need from your server.

Do you want PvP or PvE?

Are you aligned with Freeport or Qeynos?

I've found it easier to get groups in Qeynos.

Depending on what class and level you are grouping opportunities will vary. Groups always seem to want healers, but the higher level the group the pickier they tend to be about which classes they're after.

Handy Tips for Getting a Group

If you are part of a guild then often you can get together with other members to group, either for guild quests or XP.

When you're questing or XPing, keep an eye out around you, if you see someone at a simular level that looks like they may need a hand, send them a tell asking if they'd like to group for the quest or to XP.

Never send someone an invite without speaking with them first.

Search for others that are LFG in your area.

Send tell to your level chat channel (eg. 10-19) along the lines of "Lvl 18 Paladin LFG for XXX Quest in Antonica"
