Freeport to Qeynos betrayal currently broken

I just spoke to Felzik on my SK, Kikoji. I go through the dialogue, selecting all the goodie responses. Felzik attacks me, I kill him. My quest does not update; it still says I need to speak to Felzik. This has happened twice so far, once the encounter broke immediately upon Felzik becoming a normal mob, the second time he plain out attacked (but had no red outline). I should also note that he's been out of his usual place in Bramble Wood and been between McQuibble farm and Windstalker Village. My girlfriend's Defiler was with me both times and neither provided the update she needed either.

I checked after the patch tonight and the quest is still broken. Felzik is now displaying the gobbledegook code before his name, for what it's worth.On a similar note, Ian's Forgetful Family (part 2) is not updating at all. A friend and I killed the goblins and Grolven Chiptooth, and no updates whatsoever. Have not checked this one after that patch.
