Griffon Tower Expansion and you!

Hello Testers - We're launching an event in the next day or so on test server that will allow artisans and adventurers construct some griffon towers in Steppes and Nektulos. This should be a fun interactive event for everyone 20+ to take part in, but I want to let you know ahead of time that your progress on constructing these towers may be reset as testing demands. I realize all of you know the drill playing on test server, but I want to be sure that no one gets frustrated if they put an hour or two into building one of these towers and it gets suddenly reset. Some information about the event: Crafters will have to create components at remote locations to help the Griffon Trainer's Guild construct the new towers. Any crafter who has reached the class level (10+) can participate. Harvesters will be able to participate by collecting resources for the project Adventurers will have to make sure that the area is clear of enemy raiders before the construction can progress There will be 4 tower locations in Steppes and Nektulos Once the towers are complete, they will link up and you'll be able to fly between them to other completed towers Please post any feedback regarding this event in this thread, so that I can be sure to see it! Eventually will these towers be permanent?

If so this is a god send, I have always wished there were towers to use in these 2 zones.

The towers should be permanent from the moment the construction is finished. =)

I made this suggestion over /feedback but now that the boards working again thought i'd post it here. Some people thought it was an interesting idea so i'm throwing it out there.From the notes, pure adventurers won't really have anything SPECIAL to do. Sure clearing the area and making it safe for the crafters is important, but it isn't anything UNIQUE to the event. It would be neat if there was some items that dropped from either normal or special mobs that could be gathered up by the adventurers. These items could either be required for construction or possibly aid the construction in some neat way.I think this would allow pure adventurers to feel like they did something unique and special like the crafters will. Think about it. Crafters get to look back and say "Wow I built a griffon tower!", while adventurers can only say "I killed some creatures. Oh wait I do that all the time anyway."Just my thoughts anywho.

The update notes on test say this went live, but we cant find the griffon tamers in question. Please verify they have been flown in, we were sooo excited!!

well, its not really a spoiler since its not something you have to quest for or find. the server got together over the weekend and we all pitched in and built them. once they were finished, thier permenantly there. ...Would be nice tho if every now and then, something happened to necessitate a tower rebuild. Would give trade skillers something to do on a continual basis other then making items to sell.
