- Items modified by Adornments will only be equippable in slots supported by the adornmentAre going to remove adornments from multislot items (lets use the Deathtoll Amluet as an example) when changes go live?  Are people going to find an adorned item in their bags that they can only equip in their neck slot that was in their wrist slot?  Are you going to refund VERY expensive adornments?  Just what is going to happen?

The best way for SoE to keep the peace is to remove the adornment and unequip the item and place both the adorn and the item in the inventory.

That way you can let people choose if they want to restrict their multi-slot item to a single slot.

Though it can be argued that people placing neck item adorns in a multi-slot wrist/neck item and then wearing it on their wrist have been technically "abusing" a bug for a while now so in SoE's mind it might be justified to restrict the item to the adorn slot.

Personally i'd have developed/implemented this differently: Let them place whatever adorn will fit in the item but disable the adorn affect unless they actually wear it in the slot the adorn is for.

we need to know what soe are going to do.If they jsut implement this, as is, lots of people are going to be seriously p***ed off to login and find that they have a up to 5 multislot items that they can only wear in the neck slot, finding half their gear isnt equipable anymoreWe need to know if SoE are going to strip the adornemnts off the items, put them in the bags, refund the costs (10-30p) each or if theyre just going to make strip the adornment ourselves, leaving us annoying and out of pocket.I spend about 60p on dps adornments and Im annoyed enough at the moment.  This was on beta/test well before release, they had time to think about it since then.  Fine, things change but at this late point in time, SoE better make obvious to people how its going to affect them when before these changes go live.

Imho they should either not refund the cost of the adornment. OR at the very least not tell us they will. Way to easy for people to abuse this plat making mechanic.

Well, that was definitely true with the change on the +HP and +Power adornments, because people could toss them on so many pieces of gear.

But, in this case, how many actual pieces of gear are allowed to be used in two different equip slots?

and how many of them are not Lore?

people cant really stock up on them and adorn a bunch before the LU to make plat with refunds, because, they are so limited. hehe

Ever heard of a tradeskill called jeweler? I wonder how many treasured braclets i can make in 8 hours.

Edit: o wait i see what you mean, but i woudl expect if soe refunded they would probably refund on the adornment not only for adornments equipped in dual slots.

Hi all,

We will go ahead and pop off all of the Adornments that change equipment slots of the items they're attached to.  They will show up in your overflow slot.
