I'm going to focus on TS now, what do you guys recommend for Assassin class or is it not class specific?

Pick a TS you'll be using most often / saving the most money with doing it yourself instead of paying another crafter.Your best bet here is Alchemy (poisons, crit potions etc). After that, either Woodworking (arrows, free bows) or Jewelcrafting (making app4/adept3 spells is nice at any level, the jewelry is a plus)

Alchemist all the way. I had made a woodworker but if they ever gave me a /respec for tradeskills I'd totally pick an alchemist. Second choice would be a jeweler. You'll also probably make more money as an alchemist than a woodworker, although the new harvesting tools may change that (until the market is saturated at least).Pouncer70 Assassin66 Woodworker

![]() Already are on Nagafen.Think we have a pretty sweet upgrade coming with arrows though. There have already been comments, but I hoping the removal of rare arrows is a step towards standardization, which they will then take to +heat/+cold/+damage modifiers with descriptions. |

![]() Woodworkers make bows and arrows and what else (is it totems?)? I made my first assassin an alchemist, have always considered doing the wood route since I seems to chew threw arrows fast, lol makes me cry for poor rangers I am sure they have it worse. I am working on a new exiled assassin and was considering wood worker once he's done. Can you tell me why I should consider going wood worker over alchemist?

They also make certain weapons and shields, plus wands and staves, but those mostly sell on an on-demand basis. Yes they make totems which are probably the only thing you can make a bunch of and put on market to sell. Before this last LU it wasn't a very efficient use of time for making money, though. You could probably have made more adventuring, but now that 3 totems can be made with one combine that could change. Actually rangers can summon arrows so it doesn't really benefit them to make a woodworker, although I don't know what the damage is like on their summoned arrows compared to T7 arrows. As for reasons to make a woodworker over an alchemist, I wouldn't recommend it myself.

Jeweler. Nothing beats making your own spells lv51+.....you do know that you stop getting spells lv51+ and now have to make or find them, right? They can get extremely expensive. Also, making jewelry can net some nice cash. Outiftting yourself is a nice bonus. If you want an alchemist, make a fighter as your alt when your assassin hits 70. Potions and poisons are [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] cheap anyway.

![]() i'm a 70 jeweler and i think it's a poor choice if you're looking for something that will help you. you can make your own spells but seeing as that's a one combine deal now you can easily pay a jeweler to do that for you and it won't cost much. there is no money to be made in jewelcraft either, no one wants the crafted stuff as there are drops that are better than the vast majority of it. i would say alchemist without a doubt. you can get a lot out of poisons and potions. woodworker can help also but since the ts revamp it's not so hard to make arrows so just get a relationship going with a woodworker and have them craft what ya need. you'll need to harvest adamantite, wood & roots. |

![]() Yeah, I was thinking about that last night. My necro is a sage and after 40 I pretty much stopped doing any sage work because nobody in my guild needed anything (rarely I get a request) and my necro sure didn't. It used to be that even APIV pet scrolls sold well, but now they are going for under a gold too. Only thing that balances it out is that they are easy to make. I looked at the old lists for alchemy and woodworking and they both look pretty good to me. I think, since it is fairly easy to level now, I am just going to make an alt to roll wood up and do alchemy. TY all for the input, it wouldn't be such a big deal if you could just change trades once you tried it out for a bit (you can't do that right?).

Rangers can summon 60 tier-appropriate arrows every 10 minutes, don't feel sorry for them.
