I've never been the type to have to have the ultimate stats but seeing the xegonite chain it's hard not to want for someone who doesn't raid alot. However, from a look stand point, what Ranger would actually wear black and bright red armor while tryng to camoflage /boggle. It sure would be nice to have some more class specific styling. Heck the newbie island and level 20 AQ armor looks more Rangerly than anything T7.

Have you seen shots of the T7 relic armor? It's the only armor I know of (other than the lvl 20 AQ armor) that is ranger only, hence it's probably the only armor set in T7 that was designed to look 'rangerly'.

Speaking of that relic armor if anyone has screens of someone wearing some of the pieces that would be neat to see.

I wonder if it's the same stuff Dancer is wearing by the Frog camp..essentially the same as the level 20 AQ look.

Cheers!

I really hope it's not the same as the level 20 AQ look...oh how I hated the look of that leather.

Depends which lvl 20 AQ armor you are talking about, that was originally pink and is now green I believe.

THe original Pink was horrid, then they changed it to a BRIGHT Glow in the dark green which could cause a Boing 737 at cruise altitude to crash due to the blinding shinyness of said armour.

Now they changed it to some decent looking not to bright green armour ( The AQ ones )

I believe the one Dancer is wearing is Enchanted Thicket Woven Leather armour most commonly dropped in EL and Rivervale it comes in two colour variants. Green/Black and Red/Black.

But it is leather armour

Hehe I had an Enchanted Woven Thicket set for the late 30's - early 40's.  The stats are really nice, even considering the lower mitigation than chain.  Not sure how it is now that AGI's benefits  got knocked down for us, but the stats are still very good.  Only thing I hated is looking like I walked off the Sgt. Pepper's album cover.

Exactly why I don't like it...it's leather...I guess I wouldn't mind wearing leather if they actually had some decent looking leather armor.  I hate...HATE the boots of the AQ armor, the graphic, the look, HATE it.  And what's worse is that the leather armor that drops in SoS is the SAME graphic but pink...urgh.

I have always, (secretly), believed that the graphic artists in charge of armor, (and hair/piercings/tatoos/clothing), all moonlight as 'manga' artists.

Spiked shoulder pads?!!

bleh!

I don't want to be a cross between a psychedelic road warrior, and a samurai.
