I know your all thinking I'm mad that the snares come in handy but just read and find out please.

Ok last night in everfrost doing guild writs and a random guy needed the same mobs for the writ and asked to join me and my 2 guildies. So we're killing bears, spiders and giant lookouts and the Wizard who joined us can not see those double up arrow thudra terrors they hide under water by the cracks in the ice.

So whilst the tank (paladin) was tanking a couple bears the wizard for the second time ran over one of these pests. I snared it and got argo with culling of the herd and use entrap and running round casting leg shot. I was 45 at the time and it was a yellow double up but it never got a chance to hit me so I saved the Wizard and prob the day since had a fury healer (agro magnet) so if she heals him whilst he was dying he would die then go for fury and she would die and be left with a Pally and Ranger sound like evac time to me; but I held off the Mob it didn't touch me and leg shot did not give much agro as Pally got agro when bears were dead.

yes they are verry useful but we do get too many of em..

Entrap, Sharp Shoot, Leg shot  (agil hex doll 2)  and they stack..  thats all we really need, all the snares on our other skilsl are a waste except maybe the stealth, kinda usesful to be spotted hit snare mob while you make good yoru escape..  Tho i prefer a quick stuin and sprint SMILEY

Take Natural selection 5 second snares to all mobs in  encounter...  you gotta be in melee to snare em and from stealth... whats the point... would rather see an AC debuff or attack speed debuff..

yup i agree too many snares. We need a longer stun so we can solo a little better by moving round the mob stealthing and using our big hit. It can be done but if the server is a little laggy (spiltpaw is terrible at present) i got no chance of pulling it off

Ahhh..  What ever happened to the good old EQ1 days of root and run or simply parking the adds in a safe corner until the group was ready to kick it's [Removed for Content]?:smileyhappy:
