![]() I am looking for suggestions for spending my AA points. I am a L60 defiler. I spend most of my time either soloing or duoing with an assassin. My choice of primary/secondary has always been a 1hander and a buckler for the added mitigation. Looking at our weapon requirements and the AA paths, it looks like I may have to change my style of play somewhat to be able to take advantage of the AA spells. Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated. I like the idea of a DD and a root that goes with the Agi line, but wondering if it is nice enough to give up my extra mitigation and stats I get with the 1h/buckler combo. Thanks again for any suggestions ![]() Kellie L60 Defiler Everfrost Proud member of Five Finger Discount Message Edited by PattiCake on 04-30-2006 10:08 PM

The STR path is a 1 hander, the STA path is a buckler. Follow these paths and you won't have to change your playstyle.

![]() I have the same question really. The 2h spear attack along the agi line compared to the dot and buckler attack gained with a 1h-buckler, how do these compare for a soloing-melle defiler? Does having the buckler help out mitigation that much? OR have others found the Encounter Dot gained with a staff to be better overall for dps?

![]() I actually like the effects down the agility path.. I guess my question is the same. Are the effects of the agility line good enough to change my weapons I use, and does mitigation the buckler provides make that big a difference.

I think the benefits of any of the AS lines are well worth whatever handicaps they require, whether solo or group.
