Last night I was in a group with another defiler and we were trying to figure out what would and would NOT stack. Does anyone know of a post that has this information? We both had Harbinger on the Main Tank and it showed both icons for him but he was NOT getting two buffs.
  • Do our wards stack with each other?
  • Do our Slows stack with each other?
  • Do our DoT's stack with each other?
These are type of things I would like to know if anyone has their own experiences to share? Thanks

Wards stack.Slows stack.DoTs stack. They all stack. But I don't think that buffs stack, as you mentioned.

All offensive spells are supposed to stack as noted in the LU#13. However be aware that Attack speed and DPS debuffs are capped at 50%. Buffs do not stack. The trick when you're grouped with another Defiler is to have one of them put Harbinger on five group members while the other one put the three group buff and Harbinger on himself. I'm not sure if the wards stack but I can't tell for sure.

I'll agree that Slows stack and that DoTs stack but from my experince grouping with another defiler in my guild and mystic our wards dont stack with each other . i can check again but from my knowlege they dont unless they have changed it ... ill go back and read the LU notes...

It may still be bugged but in one of the patches they said that wards would now stack correctly...

Single ward, and Group ward stack with eachother.. but Like spells (Two singles, or Two groups) will not stack with eachother, and in fact cancel the previous version out.

Easy test.. just standing there doing nothing, while grouped with a Defiler or mysitc.. cast your single ward on the tank, then watch it disappear as soon as the other Shammy casts their single ward on the tank without even fighting.

We aren't alone in this though.. Both Druids, and Clerics have the same issue with their Reactives and HoT's.

If grouped with another Shammy I'd suggest one of you do wards, and the other do heals to keep from wasting eachother's power.
