![]() hi a friend and me wanna try a mystic/monk combo but i was wondering if i cast a ward on him will the ward get hit with every attack or does the high avoidance off the monk makes it take dam less often. Message Edited by RJHighWind on 12-05-2005 09:49 AM |

I think you pretty much answered your own question RJ. Whatever your monk friend can't avoid will be absorbed by the ward till the end of it's duration. Obiviously, if the mob does more damage then the ward can absorb then the ward will drop. This was the BIG change with wards a little while ago. Hope this helps. |

Wards and regens both work just fine on monks. The only healing method that lags behind any on avoidance tanks are reactives, and even then its not so bad.

I've gone all my EQ2 life duo'ing my monk and mystic - it's been a great combination.
