Need some help here?

New to the finger wiggler category and am wondering about the ranged weapon slot.. I have been able to equip a book in this slot and am now wondering what I can do with it. Is there certain things I need to equip in the ammo slot to make use of this book? How do i use this book as a weapon?

The Ranged slot for casters is just another jewelry slot in effect. We can't use ranged weapons per se.

Jewellry ..... does that mean you can equip rings there or is strictly for books? Do you know somwhere to locate a list of items that can be equipped in this slot?

Items with names like tomb, orb or idol usually can go in that slot.

that slot is just to allow us for more stats....since bows and what not have extra stats it was only fair to allow mages/priests/crusaders to get the extra effect as well.

And nothing useful to us can go into the ammo slot.

However, you can store ranged ammo there for your friends who can use that type of ammo.. Every little bit helps in a long raid.
