So I'm feeling pretty lucky - was this a good buy? Nil Distortion Master 1

I'm hoping this was the great find I think it was, but then realized today it's only level 37 and might be replaced in the 40s.

So anyhow I'm about to log for the night and set up my low level berserker in qeynos as a vendor ([expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] girl keeps spending every silver she has, got to sell those cracked bones! ) and do a quick check for master i. And what do I see but Nil distortion master 1 for sale for .... 30 gold.

My heart races to fight or flight mode, I curse the grueling 20 seconds as I camp this char and log in my only char with enough money (in freeport of course). She's camped at the fence, but only 7 gold on her! I'm desperately wishing and hoping noone snags spell this as I sprint to the bank and curse my slow swimming. I'm prepared to be disappointed as I re-approach the fence (we have several swindlers who use their TS exploit money to buy up and price-fix all the masters, adding no value to the economy but inflating prices... /rude Redrose) and quickly type in "nil" ... it's still there, and I get it for 41 gold. There is much rejoicing.

I'm exstatic as I've read here that nil is the big boom upgrade that can be used along with BSS and noxious bolt. But then I'm wondering: did I buy something that will be replaced before long? My warlock is just turned 35 so only two levels to go. Did I make a good choice?

I wish I could have it too even 5pp or what.I just a lvl 46 warlock(almost 47) but I can tell u I use Nil Distortion always and it blast mentality.I still use it and I think it will not got replaced even I ding lvl 50atm my max blast in Adept III nil distortion is 2061 SMILEY

if I have master 1 I think it would be 2300+so, what do u think?~lol

That spell is never replaced, congrats on what may very well have been the best buy you could make =)

My warlock's name is Feisty on Unrest btw Sepp. I think I've grouped with you with my brigand or warden (Aralys, Doombat) in the past.

And I thought picking up an Adept 1 Dark Distortion for 1g 50s (level 28 warlock) was a great deal....congrats....and now i'm going back into my dark corner to cry...
