Lost have no idea where to level with my mage

I just started a mage a few days ago. Here is the problem leveling is really slow. I am level 11. Any tips will be great I'm on the good side.

Also when grouping do we get more xp in a group or out of a group?

If you are on the good side, Antonica, if the evil side, the Commonlands. Groups will give better xp if you are killing heroics, and can usually kill faster than solo so you get more kills in. Blackburrrow and its equivalent in FP are good places to group.

Quests in the newbie areas and qeynos will take you to 15 easly, after that there's quests in Antonica and you'll soon be able to hunt in Stormhold, and after SH you can do Thundering Steppes and the Armor quests. After that Ruins of Varsoon/Vault of the Fallen -> Runnyeye -> Caziz Thule -> Permafrost/Obelisk -> Soluseks Eye -> DoF/Tenebrous Tangle.

Grouping in BB is good if you get an efficient group but if solo is your thing then:

11-12: white and orange deer, badgers, single gnolls, young wolves, etc. [lvl 12-14] by NQ gate past the fields with the mites and scarecrows [ lvl 10 and 11 ]

13-14: timber wolves, badgers, gnolls, antonican stags, etc. [ down by Vahlen's tower and by the beaver pond respectively ]

15-16: I kept hitting the stags and white con wolves.

17-20: Thundering Stepps griffon station farm fields have duo scarecrow solo mobs. Fastest solo xp in the game 2% per pair when you are 16-17 and slightly slow when they are white and blue but still great xp. If they are camped take out the lvl 19 bears and wolves till others leave so you can work the field.

Main thing is decent gear, adept I at least for you nukes, get your groove, watch the adds.

If you cant find a group hit the scarecrows near the TS griffon station. Solo mobs and gives very nice exp. The entrance to BB isnt bad either for soloing, if you get into trouble, run and zone out.
