Wizard Leveling help

I can only seem to get 1 - 2 % towards my next leve with every creature i kill, where can i go to level up really fast?

That's pretty normal actually. If you have full vitality you will get more, but don't worry about that yet. Vitality comes with time (literally, you gain a certain amount of vitality per hour).I am assuming you are rather low level and are on noob island. Killing things should net you about 1-2% xp per kill to start with. At higher levels you will get much less than that, somewhere in the range of .1% per kill. But this is a good thing. If you could gain a level a day, you would be level 60 in 2 months, and be bored of the game and have nothing to do.This game is not about becoming end game super high leveled, this game is about enjoying the level you are at.But if you want more xp than what you are getting, I would suggest looking for mobs with arrows up, or grouped mobs. Heroic mobs are an excellent source of xp too. Although most heroic mobs will require a full group to take out.One of the absolute best sources of xp in this game is Quests. I spose that is why it's called EverQuest. Many quests require you to kill mobs, so you get the xp for killing the critters, and xp for doing the quest, and usually coin or loot as a reward for the quest.

One way to lvl fast is grinding in an xp group... killing as many heroic mobs as possible as fast as you can. This can lvl you really fast at low lvls if done right. but dont worry about it that much.... if all you do is lvl you will be bored at 60

Don't level too fast. At each and every lelvel, there are tons of quests to do, and they can be fun. There are places to visit, task to do, mobs to kill, Heritage(s) to get.Help your guild, do writs for it, harvest and get rare, make your own food or furniture, create a nice home and try to be creative (look at the officcial board somewhere, there are some really nice homes, with hours and hours and hundred of to create something beautiful).So many things to enjoy when you take your time.

1-2% per kill?  That's pretty good.  You must be fairly low.  On my lvl 57, I am doing really really really good with a full group if I get 1% a minute and thats several kills in that minute.

1-2% per kill is probably around level 20 I would guess.  As you level, you get less per kill, so get used to it The best thing you can do to level is get in a group and fight white or yellow heroic creatures with 3 up arrows.
