The 4 of us play together every night. Real life best friends. Old set up: SK, Brig, Fury and me - Inquisitor. Sucked. Fury is far superior. I was constantly interupting my heals cause hers always landed first blah, blah, blah. My DPS sucked. Interupts were terrible... I am also a *eh* healer I guess cause she rocks and I, did not. Oh well.

I rerolled a wizard. Muahaha. I figured i would over compensate in the DPS department.

New set up: SK, Brig, Fury and me - Wizard! *moan* With the Fury adding to my INT and the Brigand debuffing cold my level 50 ice comet is through the roof! I am only 54 and my INT is only in the 250 range but last night I was hitting in the 7100 range.

/cackles with glee!

Nah, I don't need to be the best DPS. Currently we have one of every class for each HO too. Perfect 4 person group.

yeah - if you want true DPS play a ranger - mob is halfly killed by ranger before my 1st spell lands - ridiculous short cast times and huge DPS output compared to our "hours" of triggering off one lousy cast

I agree Crayzee, that is a SWEET group setup.  I don't know much about SK abilities, but a brig, wiz, and fury complement each other fantastically.

7100 max hit?  You must have master I ice comet then?  Even then, woah.  I group with a fury and I never go over 5235.

Edit:  Nm.  That's pretty impressive the brigand debuff would be that effective.

My highest hit with Ice Comet is 7751 (adept 3) and i was with a brigand but no fury, brigand's debuffs rock. All wizzys should have a brigand SMILEY

Very nice set up and class complement.  Land your hex doll, piecing Icicles, and wait till the Brig land his dispatch, and you can get IC hits of close to 8K with Ad3.

Brigands are the greatest thing in the world for a wizard, they have 2 different debuffs, one that does a massive heat debuff and one that does a massive cold... i thin my highest hit with Master I ice comet is 8967... still pushing for that first 9k+ hit SMILEY

Hex dolls (INT ones) have a clicky debuff vs spells.  If you are up against a longer fight, debuff with your hex doll along with all other things for bigger nukes.

I have Adept 3 Ice Comet. I just checked my profile and it seems I got a higher one in there of 7205 that I missed :smileyhappy:

This set up is a lot of fun. I love playing with HO's. I also like the fact that the SK, Brig and I can evac. No excuses!

Brigands have amazing debuffs that can give you 7k+ ice comets.

But Brigands suck.. so don't roll one. SMILEY

They debuff more than cold SMILEY and they can avoid AE which makes them a great raid class
