RE2 fabled drops

I have been running this zone for about 2 months between 4-7 times a week and have yet to even see a few of the cloaks or the mage wrist slot.

I have yet to see the  the mage or fighter cloak or the mage wrist item off the epic x 2.

Are these items still dropping?

They only drop when you arn't in the group, its SOEs way of Balancing Loot.((As long as Player XXXX ((Name Starts with T, Ends with D)) Ect, so on, will have a better chance of looting ((a--b)) while he is leader.))It also goes by how long your name is, and what your in, of course if your guildless it will be N and E for None.

I have ran the zone somewhere between 20 and 30 times (not all were completely successful). I've now seen 2 fighter cloaks, 1 (maybe 2 can't remember) mage cloak, 1 healer cloak, 2 or 3 healer bracelets, 1 scout bracelet, 1 fighter bracelet, between 5-10 masters.For me, fabled box off boss seems to be about 1 in 3, but honestly on any given run you could flip a coin... it almost seems like a 50/50 chance.The cloaks seem about as rare to me as fabled items from other T8 instances (well.. drusella in maiden's seems to have a higher than usual chance to drop fabled box IMO). The master drop rate also seems the same to me as in other T8 instances and shared dungeons.I also carry a lucky rabbit foot I've had since level 6 or 7 and I'm pretty sure it does nothing!

Pff and you think that is much? I been farming maidens since 6 month back, doin maidens almost everyday... Ive seen everything drop 3-4 times each but not the fabled shoulders.

I just simply gave up after 30 or so runs with nothing to show for it.  What's the point of running instances when the items you have been working for never drops.  SoH is the same way 50+ runs... no Rune Etched Helm. 

I am so sick of running the same instance runs to be dissapointed each and every single time.

I suppose SOE could go back to the no fabled from heroics unless its insanely rare like T5 thing.  I got both my scout cloak and my scout wrist within 10 runs of RE2, and I've seen plenty of other fabled/masters in my runs after I got the two items I needed.

They're good items that raiders are wearing and they come from easy heroic content.  They need to be rare.  Or else it'd be even more silly than it already is.

Well if you got them in just 10 runs you have good luck.  For some we are not so lucky and we do get sick and tired of going thru the same instances to get squat for it. 

I have seen the scout cloak drop 2 times... too bad I'm a healer.  The good thing is that the Trakanon cloak is much better, but it would have been nice to get this as well.

Perhaps this has nothing to do with the drop rate within the dungon perhaps it's the "luck" numbers that some people are either blessed with, or doomed with.  I have come to the conclusion that I am cursed with bad luck to the point that yes; I gave up even trying.   I have ran RE2 with only ornate chests of garbage and no exquisites many MANY times over, and it gets old quickly.  Perhaps you have a great luck number so you only needed 10 runs to get your goods.  Congrats to you!  Now can we balance this out a little more?

T5 was not as rare as you say either... I was there too.

T5 was not as rare as you say either... I was there too. 

Fabled from heroics in T5 was insanely rare.  INSANELY rare.  Of course it wasn't labeled fabled back then but seeing a master chest drop from a heroic mob that had gear in it was crazy rare.

That said legendary is the de facto drop in heroic instances.  That is what you're supposed to get.  Getting a fabled item from a heroic instance is icing on the cake.  It shouldn't be something that happens all of the time, especially with gear.

Farming is something this game is built on.  Farming the same content over and over for gear.  If you would've gotten all the fabled items you wanted from RE2 you first three trips in you'd probably hardly do the zone anymore.  You'd have no reason to, you've already stated you're not wasting your time for "garbage ornate chests".

I can't believe people think a 45 min investment should reward exquisite chests anything other than extremely rarely.

Not everyone is running this in 45min. In fact only raid geared groups are going to run this in 45min. The drop rate for some of the items seems low. I have run the zone over 60 times and have never seen a healer cloak drop. However I have had everything I needed from the zone since about run 15. I just wish we could get the rest of the items the group needs and be done with it.

They're just rare.  Maidens is worse really... I've done it like 50 times and still can't get the fabled gi.

these drop are a myth. still havent seen anything less than a master coming out of this zone (btw lol smart loot on masters)

Everytime I run this zone I always get drops for plate tank gear, healer gear and mage gear.  With this setup:me (monk), fury, dirge, mezzer, scout dps, cleric or shaman

Then we should made a good team   Think gi droped 6 times now when I run it... 4-5 healer rings same with the robe but the shoulders seams to be totally out of stock.

I really love RE2 believe it or not. I enjoy doing it, but INHO the drop rates are nothing short of terrible. I consistently see better loot drop out of CoA and that zone is a total cake walk. RE2 drops should be adjusted. I know you will have the neigh sayers out there, but they probably got S lucky and had there cloak drop the first couple times they were in there, and therefore think the drop rates are acceptable. I have yet to see a cloak drop for any class, and have seen a total of one master chest drop in all the times I've been there. There really is no excuse for the final boss dropping total crap, when you have to single group an epic mob. Even if he drops ornate, there should be some worthwhile legendary gear in there. I know they won't adjust it, but risk vs. reward really isn't there. Chelsith is the same way really.

with the naggresh collection reward, the blue shiny collection reward, each classes cloak which is one of the best in game even including raid quality, each classes wrist item which is arguably one of the best in game as well, certain legendary set peices for the 2 peice effect, and the only zone with a 30% smart loot master loot table. This zone has enough drops to keep people coming back AND there has not been 1 run i have done that someone hasnt gotten something they needed/wanted.

Wow I wish I can run this zone 60+ times. Dunno what people are complaining about atleast you get to go and have a chance at getting the loot! It seems the only mage wanted in RE2 is chanters./rant offBut to be on somewhat on topic. I do understand the frustration. I've ran vaults 30+ times and never seen the Praetor's guard drop.

Maybe I've just ran it more than you man. I have everything except the cloak from there and other than the last 3 weeks i ran it 4-5 times a week (trying for the cloak). My guild as a whole has not seen a fighter cloak at all. Thats with me, a guard, a zerk and a pally, plus alts tanking we have not seen one fighter cloak yet. And the master drop rate seems abysmal for a 30% smart loot zone. Its not enough for me to say its broke, but its enough for me to say you had much better luck than me and that everyone's loot experience is different.

The drops are rediculously rare and do not seem to drop with any consistency.

I have seen the scout cloak 3 times, the healer cloak twice, 1 fighter and no mage.

On the bracers I have seen the fighter bracer to many times to list, few scout, few healer and zero mage.

Soooo.... TSO is only 1 Week away, do we see a fix for the RE2 Loottable then ? I'm running through RE2 since it came out aaaaand... no cloaks yet. I have trouble to find groups for Runny because "Ey, there are no cloaks, we're fed up with this crap zone, lets move on and wait for TSO" People. Is this what you did intend as you were developing the zone ? Ultra-Rare Drops (Bracers / Cloaks). Don't get me started about the Master dropping (seems there are only Bruiser and SK Masters in there), talk about Smartloot, haha... Any comments ? Or shall i just delete RE2 from my Memory and wait for TSO ? Regards, theriatis.
