Xegonite plate armor:  sta + wis + int Xegonite Devout armor: str + sta + int Xegonite Vanguard armor:  str + agi + sta So, if you have the money to do all 7 slots in xegonite, would you mix and match (and which combinations)?  Or would you go primarily str/int, wis/int or str/agi? I was thinking that maybe 4 slots in str/int, 2 in wis/int and 1 in str/agi might be the way to go. But was looking for people's thoughts. If you choose between wis, int, and agi, what wins for us? I apologize if this has been discussed to death, I'd be happy to accept a link to a thread on this subject in lieu of an answer SMILEY

For soloing I went with full set of Xeg devout, but i would say it be best to mix the sta, int, wis with the sta, agil, str one.  4 peices of vanguard 3 peices of the sta, int, wis  Fairly even distrabution of stats and nice over all resists. Slot wise i don think it matters.

I went all vanguard, because I'm compulsive about matching.

I went for full vanguard, mostly because I didn't know about the other two styles at the time (although I'd probably stay with the melee stats and + Defense) and partly because I like the color.  Then those nasty pink shoulders had to drop for me in HoF, and now I can't be seen in public in my platemail.  Armor matching OCDers unite!

Call me a newb but I started my Paladin over for the PvP server and we aren't quite up to tier 7 yet.

What exactly are you all talking about? Can you have different types of armor made? I'm also an armorer so this may give me an incentive to level up.

So far I have chosen Vanguard but I only have two pieces (chest, feet).  I like to match my armor and it looks nice with my other combos and I like the stats SMILEY

Well, I'm going to go against the mainstream... I'm looking to get a set of devout made for off tanking.  The INT on the devout is only 2 less per piece than the cloth armor I got from SoS, but the MIT and the other stats completely rock which will allow me to pick up mobs and not drop like a wizzard... I think a good trade off.  I often group with a fury so in offensive gear my INT easily hits mid 500's so I can afford to lose a few :smileyvery-happy:
