![]() Howdies fellow shadowknights. my main is a conji, but i have recently been leveling a shadowknight whom i love to death. She is level 60 now and cooler than ever. Question though is in reference to despoiling mist. please correct me if i am wrong i "thought" when you cast it, it would "siphon" mit from your surrounding targets and transfer it to you - in encounter of course. the mit you gained would last the duration of the spell, one minute or so. This is how i swore i saw it working earlier. Well today it looked like when the mobs died that had the debuff on them, i lost the mit bonus. it was not lasting the full duration. I would cast it, get the buff, kill the mob and lose the buff instantly. Is this how it always worked? i thought the buff lasted the full minute regardless if the mob was dead or not?

![]() the way i see it is the once a mob dies, debuffs fall off anyways...cuz the mob is dead. so when a mob dies, it makes sense to lose the mit siphoned from the mob. now what really doesn't make sense is why does Despoil drop mit when a mob dies and Siphon Strength stays active for the full 1 min, 12 secs despite mobs dying. |

To me, that is how it has worked ever since it got the mit siphon effect. |

during beta the +mit staied on during the full duration, but it was considered to overpowered ... aka on could pull a group of 5 trash grey add the +mit and pull right after a named while the +mit bonous is still on! Thus it was change, no problem with that imho ... if it hadn't been changed already back then, it would have been by now since other classes would have called for nerfs :smileywink:

yeah, it's been that way since the improvement to the spell went live. the other would have been nice, but probably overpowered

![]() Would that have changed anything? You can't go anywhere but the lowest raid zones without a Brigand. A Brigand is a prerequisite for raiding and SOE doesn't consider them overpowered.Anyway ... for each mob affected by despoling mist you get some sort of uncurable "debuff" on yourself. It's actually a buff but in the group window it appears as if it was an uncurable debuff. Once the mob dies its "debuff" vanishes. Looks like some rough workaround fix :smileyhappy: |

Yeah .. somebody in the Beta posted somethign like : In a raid start PvP against a conjurer wo summons al hs swarmpets .. boost you miti .. stop PvP .. pull mob. So it was clear that there would be a fix to that

![]() thanks for the replies.
it is a shame some had to ruin it for all, but i guess it is that way with any class that someone finds a loophole in.
