Shadow Knight damage

How good is a SK's damage, compared to say, a paladin?Just curious

Its better then palladin's but its so-so overall. Better against groups of mobs.

Well in my experience it's more like

Zerker

Paladin

Shadowknight

Guardian

Smaug ~ 60 SK

Depend if you are tanker or not aswell. Lots of the damage comes from reactive shield/lifetap, while i think paladins nukes/CAs does more damage than ours. But not sure. And as said, we do most damage AoE aswell.

I'm wearing legendary/fabled gear, Adept 3's, crazy int and a 1HS that procs all day. I only MT, and always prefer encounters with more than 5 mobs - I'll pull multiple groups to get that many if thats what it takes. Last two nights we've been killing nightbloods in RV and I was consistantly the DPS leader (upper 190s - 200s) in a group that had monk, brusier, conj, coerc, and inquiz of similar levels.

it really all depends on how you are equipped, how others are quipped, and who the mobs are, but with the right combination you too can be DPS king

I forgot to mention that every time my FD came up i cast it on the Monk because it was the only way to keep him from looting mid fight, so his DPS was pretty low for other reasons

anyone who tells you a paladin outdamages a shadowknight is simply not playing a sk, and has no idea what they are talking about. (just my 2 cents).

I agree, if a Palladin out DPS's you then I dont think you are doing something right at all. SK out damages Paladins all day. If your looking for a tank class with good DPS and can take hits go for berzerker, if your looking for DPS and squishiness go for monk (monk haste skills, with good equipment and his haste AAs sound REALLY lethal to me when it comes to auto attack DPS)
