Outside the grand door to the Underfoot, the Stygian Threshold and all its denizens await raiders who wish to challenge their hold on this magical realm. Travel deep within this completely flyable raid zone and challenge the Iron Forged Constructs who stand guard at the door to the Duke’s plane. Be sure to bring at least 4 groups or you may join the ranks of those who have stepped across the Stygian Threshold and never returned!
Please post your feedback for this zone here. You can be positive, you can be negative, but also please be constructive. Also keep in mind that this is an early version of the zone so balance is likely to be a little bit off. It will be adjusted based on testing and feedback in this thread. Please keep itemization feedback to the appropriate thread as this is for zone mechanics and boss fights etc. - This is the entry level x4 raid zone. - There are 5 bosses. - When entering the zone you should get a buff that increases your stats to what should be needed for this zone. There seems to be a slight problem with King Lockt's script. On our first pull we didn't have enough HP to survive the increasingly hard hitting AoE. We managed to kill one of the adds before we wiped, but the script didn't stop, even after the wipe. Leaving the zone didn't help either. We had to wipe, rezz, wipe a lot to finally get back to the encounter and loot the corpses which finally seemed to do the trick.

so far we love the scripts, had a little trouble with the Forged Constructs as we got them both stuck on 75% with stoneskin with no member being called anymore to "use that item" (sorry, don't recall the exact text). After wipe it did reset back to normal and even though we didn't kill them, as we run out of time, we got good info to continue later this week.

That happens if a couple of people fail to "use that item". When that happens the encounter breaks and has to be started over as it will not progress anymore.

Correct, it has been changed to where if the bosses are still immune when the previous person's ability to use the crystal wears off it will just pick a new person.

while fighting trash PBAOE's were not landing targeted (like dagger storm or storm of steel) would hit, intended?

some of them seemed to avoid AE auto too, guessing its a mechanic to stop ppl doing huge precharge VCs by pooling half the zone up.

When killing King Lockt tonight, the shamanistic warding was still happening after the two shaman were dead. We were still able to kill it, but I'm assuming that should not happen.

We were having the same problems in there, getting an error message when trying to kill trash. It's almost like they're out of range. Please tell me this is a bug.

We've killed Gnashclaws, spiders, faeries, and others. Last night it happened on every spider trash kill. But from what I've seen it effects all trash in Stygian. It happened in the heroic/event heroic as well. I've seen the bug in the x2 as well, but it didn't happen last time we were in there.
Edit - In the X2 it happened on the final named. We assumed it was an intended mechanic because the suppressor was up. We pulled him near the doorway at the front of the room. He was facing the hallway if that matters to you. Just so you have an idea of the location. We could target him thru pets. |
