Which is more helpful to a very low level solo bruiser -- imbued leather armor that casts an occasional minor self heal, or dexterious leather that has STR + AGI?I am not so much interested in a debate on the value of stamina vs agility, as whether that occasional minor heal is worth a lot more than the minor extra avoidance of damage. Not a big question but for a young poor brawler, making the right choice on expensive mastercrafted armor is worrying me.

edit -- oops I think I meant this to go into the "bruiser" forum, however I assume the answer would be the same for both classes.

The way I figure it is I'd rather have +5 +5 +5 for three stats than +7 +7 for two.   I haven't seen agi make a big difference but I bet giving up 35 sta for 14 agi will be noticable.  I'm assuming you're in your 20s as thats when I had to decide if I was going for the dex stuff.

Actually I should have said VERY low level ^_^ just teens so there isn't yet an option for imbued dexerious, it is just imbured cured (4Str+4Sta+proc) or regular dexterious (4Str+4Agi), though I guess I am still interested in learning now about later levels when it is a choice like you describe. Also is there a "EQ2 fashion website" for those times I'd rather let looks be the final tiebreaker?

LOL, mastercrafted for that afternoon in your teens huh?  I don't know of any webpage that shows what it looks like, sorry.  And dexterous can't ever be imbued. SMILEY

I podunk around on a lot of low level characters and play a lot with crafting, so my crafting levels are much much higher than my adventure levels SMILEY  I actually spend a lot more than an afternnoon in my teens since I want to see all of the content for a tier before moving up to the next tier, uncover every square inch of every map (even the water areas), talk to every NPC,  etc. At this rate I won't be 50 till summer but that's fine by me. My only complaint with the game is the character slot limitation since I hate deleting characters (they are all crafters I spent a lot of time on, so they could all make each other's gear)  and I really want to try out all 28 classes, heh.

That heal is VERY valuable for solo play.  If you group a lot, you might want to go with the stats.
