Monk weapons?

For a monk, what is better too use? I was using duel wield, but then someone told me too get rid of em and my attack shot through the roof. Should be using nothing? Or fist wraps? And if so who makes fist wraps?

Right now there is a display bug causing bare fists to show a higher value than it should.

I prefer using a 2-handed Bo Staff myself, but duel wield is better in long, drawn out fights, imo.

but is it higher without a weapon? or is it a really big bug?

Right now, bare fist damage is lower than a standard crafted weapon of the same level.

honestly i haven't tried bare fists yet, but will try it in a few. the answer to your second question is Weaponsmiths. we make fistwraps, knuckles, cestii, and spike cestus. i am on a new server and the broker is worthless, that's why i went weaponsmith. now if i could just find someone to craft some adept III's we could get those f'n freeps.

Which DW do u guys think would be best for pure DPS mode (i use a 2H when i tank),, the Imbued Ebony Cugdel or Imbued Ebony Quarter staff? the stats on the Cugdel look better for DPS but it's very fast at 1.6, will it hurt my haste bonus being that fast?
