![]() Up until the patch bruisers were more wanted for Shrug Off. I'm not sure about now, but probably them as their DPS is better. I wouldn't say that either of us is *needed* for a raid though atm. The one thing we have going for us imho is that we are melee who can wield all 3 damage types. |

Monks get martial discipline which increases the targets' avoidance.

Transcendant Vision is a monks main raid buff for the MT. It increases avoidance 42%(adept 3) on yer target, raises your deflection and tranquility skill as well. It doesnt show the increase in stats window, but ask the MT to log the fight and youll see quite a few messages of Ubermob01 tries to hit MT, but Monk blocks, etc etc.

![]() As stated previously, before the latest patch, there was no question that Bruisers were more desireable for high end raids because Shrug Off was such an amazing secondary buff. Now that it's been changed to be more in line with our best secondary buff, Transcendent Vision, you can take your pick for either one. I still want to see more data from the tank I usually raid with to better gauge the effectiveness of TV though. I just don't like not being able to see it's primary benefit for myself, assuming it's working as intended. |

![]() Im pretty sure they dont "stack" persay like other buffs, but yes they can both be cast the same target, but it wouldnt result in 84% avoidance, it would more likely just stay as the monk has 42% chance to block a hit and the bruiser would have a 42% to block as well.(and by using 42%, Im assuming thats the chance you have to block the hits, but being as it doesnt show up in any of the viewable values for any of the characters, I could be wrong). But [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] good buffs anyhow.

![]() You pay for black market stuff regardless of if you're good or evil, if you want stuff from the other city. -Ilina |

![]() Yea, but theres more of a market in Qeynos... so therefore less reason to buy things from the black market.. right?

Bruisers. But either one that's available? Or both? Raids consist of many players.... Monks are better tanks than bruisers, but bruisers do more damage than monks. If neither would play the tank role for a raid, which one would you chose if you had to? Bruisers.

![]() and yes - freeports market sucks because no one makes a character from freeport because just about all of them except bruisers are gimped ATM...oh and berserkers are okay - but they still got more broken arts than a handful.. fury defiler Shadowknights... bruisers and berserkers are on the right track though. |
