Whats the best agility armor/jewlery for a monk 20-30?(price isnt a factor i have a main backing this guy up with funds)Thanks SMILEY

in the higher levels the original race doesnt matter the worst that will happen is that you will have 10 less agility than someone which doesnt matter when you have 200-300 agility buffs

I like Half Elf or Ratonga myself, but they are all good.

The best agility jewlery 20 to 30 is prob palladium rings and the shard bracelets, hmm its been awhile ;p

There are soo many forumns on this..and unlike other games where you HAD to have a maxed stat race for a certain class, in EQ2 it really doesnt matter.
   Seriously.
I have a 22 dwarf monk and if I judge him by his starting agi..it sucks.  Real bad, however getting majority of my gear with +3 agi or higher (some at 5-7) I have around 75 agi.
Now that is the best gear I could find at the moment but basically my agi weakness is gone, and I tank real well.
Ive even heard of some ogre monks with outstanding agi for their class, its all about the gear and constantly upgrading and maxing out 1-2 stats on each piece.

I started as a Ratonga... level 22 I have 90 Agi. It's nice... very nice. Most people think i'm a thief archetype since I have Roleplaying up, and my DPS is up there with them.

Its really all about what graphic you want to look at for the rest of your Monks career.  Stats should be secondary.

High agility is very nice, but since a monk is part of the fighter archtype all of our ability power comes from Strength.  Something to keep in mind.

I have a woodelf monk.  My starting agi was 25 or so.  At level 22 with a 23 fury/ward I can get to 125 agi, or so and with my self buffs I think i have around 92 or so.  At level 40-50 it may not mean much but I barely get hit now.  One time i tanked a giant in ts and didnt get hit once.

lvl 28 half elf and with self buffs i can hit 107 agi. Race doesnt matter except if you choose an evil race you will have to betray. If that isnt a problem play what ever makes you happy.

hi

my monk is a barbarian, because i like to play barbarians hehe.

i think i have decent gear but i am not really sure.

at 21 i have, completely unbuffed,  73 agility, 970 health, and 717 ac.

whether or not a wood elf or ratman with starting agility 30 is any better as a monk is up in the air because they lose out on hp for the added agility.   it is all a tradeoff.  alot of people  woohaa over a kerran as a monk but they only start with 3 more agility than a barbarian for instance.

Pick the race you enjoy playing because like most here have said already  in the long run 5 or 10 points at  level 50 and beyond is not gonna matter.  the original design of eq2 was for a minimum of 200 levels if i remember right, so it wll matter even less then.

the main thing is to have fun and enjoy the character you play.

At 22 I took the added HPs... I'm at 1083 hp with 60 str, 90 agi, 700ish AC. Not bad for a ratonga... SMILEYI didn't bother with the increased health/power regen as I always have tier 3 food/drink.
