Just picked one up yesterday, can't say if i notice a difference, or i don't.  A link to a parser would be nice, so i can test it SMILEY

Also, if anyone 37 could parse it with Tides and without, and see if it stacks? SMILEY

Only 3% eh? Ah well, that stats are still VERY nice for a ring SMILEY  Any idea if a level 33-34 could do the fbss? I havent really looked into that one yet, but it sounds nice.

Where does the ring come from?   Quested or dropped?  and for what level?  Thanks in advance.... just havent been able to find any other info on it in the forums and the EQ2players item database seems to be down at the moment.

The ring comes from the 'Ancient Watcher' in the new catacomb in Antonica.  Be warned, you need a decent group - he hits HARD SMILEY

Anyone know if the haste on two rings stack? Or maybe two different rings? (Stam and Agility for example) I picked up a ring for 5g from some schmuck on the broker, then got one myself SMILEYAnd yes the last guy is fairly tough.. he's 33 or 34 triple arrow group x2 mob. He does a fairly large damage AE knockback (corner tank him, hi EQ1!)We did him with 37 guardian, 37 paladin, 34 berserker, 37 templar, 37 Warlock and a 30 Mystic. The fight was LONG and by the end we were all out of power. No close calls, but if the fight had lasted another minute or two there might have been. I'd definately say two healers are required just to heal the AE damage (unless its just one tank and all mages).

This is a very old post, almost a year old. Back then they did stack but no longer. At the start of DOF in Sept the rules were changed regarding haste. 1 item 1 buff (chanter or bard grp haste for example.) 1 proc (berserk) If you were to have 2 rings and a fbss only the fbss haste would have effect.

" 1 proc (berserk)"

this part is wrong, fury haste/dps stacks and it's very easy to see this when it's on you...ppl keep saying they do not stack, do they bother to check? cuz seriously go try it

i also disagree with 1 buff, as monks get a buff(group) a buff(self for hp) and a buff(stance), and can use item too, that put them to very high hastes because they all stack

They dont stack.SoE has stated how haste items, spells, and procs stack. You'll notice they dont stack, because you only every have a single berserk icon up.While the self only Zerk line and the group Zerk line do stack, the effect they proc do not.  They also respectively increase your odds of procing Berserk, but still the +haste/dps do not stack.I cant find the link where the dev's explained how haste stacks anymore. I think it got wiped out in the grand board revamp.

Bloodlust? Our level 23 berserker spell that adds 27str at adept1?Only spell that we have that increases haste is the berserk proc lines, and the berserk proc doesn't stack.

Pre-combat revamp, Bloodlust did have a haste effect.  It would also stack with other haste buffs.  However, that was pre-combat revamp. We do have another spell which increases haste besides the berserk proc lines.  We get the short duration Open Wounds.

Ok. That makes more sense. You never stated that, and since Berserkers actually get a spell called Bloodlust, leads to some confusion. We were refering to the way haste buffs stack.  Other classes permanent haste spells with stack with Berserk because Berserk is a proc effect. and thus stacks with permanent buffs, and Items.

Sheesh, I would think I don't have to repeat something I said a few posts up in the same thread. The buff is permanent and gives a 10% chance to proc 32% dps/haste(at adept1)

This stacks with berserker proc 10% 30% on hit and 100% on killing dps/haste.

They are both proc buffs, they icons AND effects both stack. I know this because my roomate is a fury and I've actually TRIED it, not just read someone's post who thinks it won't.

I don't know what else to say, for anyone that doesn't get it by now, or is still not willing to try it out, I can't get through to you obviously.

Haste items do not stack if they are in the same item catagory,  so you can only have 1 jewelry item that has haste, 1 armor items that has haste and 1 weapon item that has haste, only 1 duel wield weapon (primary) will use the haste if both weapons have haste on them.

which really sux.  I dont think its fair that they dont stack,

If you can get the items that have haste on them why cant you use the haste?  what is it really gonna hurt to give someone the FBSS and the Slayers ring?  that is a total of only 18% haste,  no big deal i think.  there are not that many items with haste on them.  so its not like you are gonna have some uber DPS machine from haveing all these haste items.

While i dont entirely disagree with you.The issue isn't the slayers ring, the issue is people who farmed T5 for countless months and ended up with 3-4 20% haste items. This was my guild, and i know a swashbuckler who has at least 80% haste in just items. I beleive its actually higher then that.  18% haste from an FBSS and a Ring, or 80% from two Braclets of manipulation, wristguards of the Axebringer, and a Girdle of conquering. That would be a bit overpowering.
