I was browsing through post today and noticed that there have been direct responses from SOE employess randomly scattered through the brawler forums (cant recall which bruiser or monk, think it was bruiser). I thought to myself has there ever been any response from a SOE employee on any of the concerns for our class?

I dont recall any.

Is there someone up there that looks into guardian issues?

The number of resposes to brawler discusions is something most guards would appreciate occuring here. ( i.e. on brawler boards subj:AA focus on DPS AOE vs DPS single target,  Subj: game mechanic response on haste and delay caps)

For the love of (enter EQ god here) speak up!
Tell us we are morons!
Tell us your looking into it!
Throw us a bone!
Provide some form of hey I am alive and I am looking into the issues your discussing!

Thanks

Rahge

Yep we had constant contact from a SOE Rep after LU13 for weeks, he told about how he was playing a Guardian from the ground up and bringing potential issues of the class to the light of the Dev Team.  Im sure hes still around so take heart.

Dont' feel bad guys, in the history of these boards we have had 3 DEV responses on the SK issues. =/ I seriously don't think that they exist anymore. (Looks around) At least not to answer the true concerns of the customer. /shrug Guess we just keep arguing amongst ourselves untill we all quit the game like the one guy did this past week and posted about it on the guard boards. Keep up the good work SoE!!!

The only SOE guy I recall posting in our forums was Raijinn Thunderguard.  He hasn't posted anything concerning our class since Nov/Dec 05.  His role though was one of a MOD and not a person who was there to listen to peoples comments. He did post these classics..."I wanted to pop in and let you all know that your not forgotten. I don't have any updates for you at this point however I believe there is a good understanding here of what you would like to see in game and what you would like to change. Thanks for all the input from the Guardian forum so far.""I can understand how frustrating it is and I don't like leaving people in the dark so I at least like to say that yes your issues are acknowledged and yes they are being looked into. Other than that most of the details are top secret. Then again top secret is usually good right?""Actually as a note they are listening but while this update has some additional content I believe more balance issues will be addressed in the near future."These posts can be found in this thread Any Dev response AT ALL?
Not only are we the unsung heroes, were the forgotten ones as well.  Reading through some of the comments SOE people made concerning the recently passed ranger changes, made me cringe.  They never gave us any attention, nor were they as visible in even pretending to be there to listen.

lol thats funny.

Though there are still issues i would like to have addressed with Guardians, i have enjoyed playing my guardian lately.  I'd rather play my swashy, but my guardian is needed (yeah, a guard thats actually needed.  weird huh) more at the moment.

sorry guess we ate the Dev alive and they will not send us another...but he was nice roasted over his own bed of charcoal with a little barbeque sauce.    We invited the Mods to the party but they only stayed for the free beer and I guess we ran out of that back in Nov/Dec.     When the Mods report that we run out of propane and restock the free beers maybe they will come back.      SMILEY

Hey someone else bring the pretzels next time.    Gaige brought the saltless ones.

Hey I swear I didnt know they were low carb beers, it was imported i figured it had to be good.

ok FINE!?  how about I bring the potatoe saled?

Hey stop throwing the bottles at me!!

I am a victim of my own mind........

Acutally I remember reading something like this:

"After the wonderful news of the upcoming LU13 I have decided toplay WOW instead. Good luck to you guys and may the force be with you. BECAUSE YOU ARE GOING TO NEED IT!"

Oh, there has been some replies.

I guess this is most classic:

Moorgard wrote:

The nature of the guardian is perhaps to be the unsung hero ........

I don't think Moorgard was allowed to post in the guardians forum after that statement. SMILEY

The whole reply can be read here: http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=3&message.id=21752&query.id=0#M21752
