![]() some character has maxed 20 homes, and some of it that i want to transfer to other alts. no one knows when we get new cap for more house to own. but it seem it is ideal and little cheaper to get title deed transfer, click the title and select new owner in your account. |

![]() House deeds were announced at the EQ/EQ2 Keynote Friday night. I'm not sure exactly how they'll work yet. Just announced that we'd be able to pack up homes and sell them to other players. |

![]() That is awesome. Selling decorated houses was a huge "money maker" for me in SWG. Glad to see we might be able to do it here. It would be awesome to trade deeds though. Make them heirloom instead of no trade. |

![]() Not sure how exactly it'll work yet but I almost hugged Holly when she talked to me about it. I did squee, bounce up and down and tell her she just made a LOT of decorators happy. It's a really awesome idea (didn't know it was in SWG so very cool that they're carrying something over) and I can't wait to see it happen! What I do know:
It's not much known yet but it's exciting! I hope they remember to disallow people with 20 houses already from purchasing. |

Same here. I've been nervous at the thought of offering to decorate someone's place, but I wouldn't mind doing this because then they'd have the chance to determine first if they like it before even paying. There were really not many details yet, it really sounds like it's in an early conceptual state. I have no idea when this will go forward... it may not be anytime soon. One thought I had was "what if someone else's items are in the house being sold?". Obviously that could cause issues if it wasn't simply just an alt's items. It'd be nice if we could grant ownership of an item to a house or guild hall's owner when we place an item in their turf, then that could avoid that issue. |

![]() I did a few commissions early on. A few really bad experiences (most were good) with payment and/or other problems turned me against commission work. I'm really excited about being able to decorate and just sell homes outright. |

![]() I don't like it how it's stated. I mean I would NEVER sell ones of my homes if that was the case, because I use CE items/Claim items/Event items in my decorating. I'm not going to sell a house with 1 per character claims or live event items (dragon rings/wiz spires/iksar ship in bottle/blue trees) in them. Or any house with LoN paintings/items. Now if it copied items and did it that way, it'd be one thing. but I don't have a single home that doesn't have rare event items or SC items or claim items in it. and I'm not losing out on my nice things no matter how much plat someone wants to throw at me. other then that, if I use regular house items...why bother building a home and hoping it'll sell over just selling my services and building in someone else's house. We all know the only people that will look to buy homes will specifically be looking for the items they can't get anymore. or things like FV statues. they aren't going to buy a house full of stuff that they can get themselves. if they wanted a house built of generic materials, they'd do it themselves. |

I don't think that's true at all. I've got a mailbox with no less than 5 requests to do "normal" houses that I just can't/won't committ to right now. (scared to 'work' for someone, time restraints and felling like something 'has' to be done, pressure for 'creative results' on the spot, etc...) But, oh! The freedom to just make pretty places and then let people choose if they wish to buy it or not! That'd be soooo fabulous. I'm sure without a doubt that houses with "generic materials" will sell just fine Rainmare@Oasis wrote:
Well, I guess it should be left up to the seller to choose if they would part with those items. If you dont' want to sell them, don't put them in a house you are marketing :p I still doubt they'd transfer property ownership of some items or duplicate them, but at a minimum I'm sure a warning will pop up you have to confirm.

Glad to hear that, congrats to those who have received it now. It's a shame that other homes were never made to drop in-game via other methods, though. |

I'm thankful that it's the ONLY home that drops like that! How frustrating that is to a decorator that does not raid to forever be barred from owning that particular home! Homes dropping as freebies within the game is fine as long as we can also purchase them if we like, I guess, but I really, really, really don't like barriers to ownership being in my way because I don't raid or don't play LoN. I really lucked out getting the Dimensional Pocket prestige home out of my stockpile of freebie packs since it dropped after opening just seven packs, but I'd still rather have alternative means to obtain things rather than means designed so only certain players are likely or even able at all to obtain them.

Oh I didn't mean I wanted to see others as raid drops (especially end game raid drops), but having a tradeskill quested one, or a solo quested one, or a heroic boss drop or something would've been nice. Yes I agree, having an alternate means to get it (even if it were 6+ months after its release) would've been a nice idea. |
