![]() Can get into AB, but when I try to get into test am getting EQ2 client application has stop working. Also get the same when I try to get into beta. |

![]() You may be encountering this problem because the launcher is not correctly patching over files it needs to change in order to allow access to these servers. You may want to make backups and then delete the following files and folders in your EverQuest 2 directory: cache folder (does not apply to Steam users) eq2_recent.ini eq2_default.ini EverQuest2.exe eq2.iniNext, delete the configuration files/folder by following these instructions: 1. Open the EverQuest II LaunchPad. (Do not login at this time.) 2. Click Advance Tools, Open Game Directory, then close the LaunchPad. 3. Look for any files explained above and delete them. 4. Close all open folders and restart EverQuest II using the LaunchPad, validate game assets from the Advance Tools menu and try accessing the game once again.

IF you're getting this error at the point where the game should show the splash screen and start playing music, try reinstalling DirectX 9.0c. I know it sounds odd but give it a shot. |
