![]() I am working in China. Since end of March, I have not been able to log onto SOE sites (saying that "Wrong username or password."), EQII Forum (saying similar thing) and not able to log onto the game server either by running the LaunchPad or by running the EverQuest2.exe (saying that "There was an error completing your request. Please try again."). I raised support ticket to the SOE Support Team, however, the issue was never resolved. Now I am able to log onto the this forum, and able to log onto the game server because I am using VPN. So, if you are playing EverQuest II in China, you might have to use VPN. |

![]() Hello Alex S, I have sent you, via PM, the info regarding the two support tickets I raised in March and April 2012. As I pointed out in my support tickets, the EverQuest II asset pre-loading was OK even I was not able to log onto the game, however the asset pre-loading is now AFTER the verification of the user log on. Hence I am really sure that SOE is deliberately blocking user log on from China. Before, it only blocked the user log on but let the EverQuest client download asset update, now it only allows download of game asset AFTER the user log on making players in China have no access to the game asset. Now I am using VPN and everything seems back to normal. Any thing you could fill me in, please? |
