Garbled and/or echo in voice ... work around

I don't know if anyone else is having this particular problem.

But, incoming voice sounds like a combination of an underwater effect with an echo.

I and my GF have 2 seperate systems, with 2 different OS's (win 7 and vista, both ultimate 64 bit) The problem has happened on the road, using wifi, and at home using dedicated cable connection. It doesn't matter if both online at the same time, or only one of us.

Dxdiag, shows everything is ok. Deleting voice, acct ini files etc and repatching helped once, and then the problem reappeared after the next log out / in.

There is a simple work around, simply change your voice channel (private, diff guild, group) and then back, and the problem goes away. At least until you relog.
