Trying to go to Marketplace crashes client every time

Every time I attempt to start the marketplace, the client crashes. It doesn't matter whether I make the attempt from character select, the EQ2 button, the Welcome screen, or the SC button on the lower-right side of the UI. I'm effectively shut out from making marketplace purchases. Is anyone else seeing this? I tried a search and wound up with 200+ pages dating back to 2006.
