Is the char slot count right atm?

I was able to log on, but the servers are "locked".  Am i getting ahead of myself by worrying that my char count is too low? (3 of my chars are locked because "these slots are over your limit" even tho i bought these slots and they arent from station access)

It never was in any previous downtime, without a login server it used to just show four that it had information cached about.

Stop panicing, they're still working on things, because obviously the account servers aren't all talking to each other yet.

Edit: They're definitely not talking to each other, because where it showed 7 characters before, it now only shows 4 total. Give it time.

There has been a alot of wild math floating aorund, but one thing Smokejumper has said, you will lose nothing..so if it doesn't look right, yet, panic not. I imagine it'll be fine when it all shakes lose.

MInes same way, sub+1 free (empty slot i paid for) and only shows 3 unlocked, 4 locked. So as others have said, they must still be fixing things on their side. It does this alot when they are having downtime. So as you said, we need to just give it time (only quoted you cause you have same amount of slots and same issue)

Yes, wait and see. I had station on one with at least one extra slot from LON and i think i bought one on it too. Second account, 7 basic, one bought and one LON.  I should have 13 to 14 slots on one (even if i didnt have characters for all the slots yet) and 9 for the other. We will see.

Seriously, gang, for the last 7 years, whenever the servers are down or locked, they never show the right amount of characters, ever.  It's usually just 3 or 4 and that's it. 

Now I'm not saying this whole thing is going to go smoothly either, once the servers are up and running, but still-- no need to panic yet.

PS/ I did notice that Freeport still isn't in the server list with all the others yet, lol.  *drums fingers on desk*

My game is showing the right amount of characters (7 stock total plus 2 I bought way back when they first became available for sale).

However, I seem to have been playing for all these years with "premium" toons    Looks like unless I want to shell out some coin, 8 of my 9 toons are unavailable to me for various reasons.  Heck, some of them have 3 lock outs on them.... total number of slots limit, race lock and class lock.

if, AFTER everything is back up and IF you have locked characters, then you go right ahead and panic.  next, send in tickets.  after that, call them.  yes, i'd be one of the first doing that but right now i'm betting that i wont have to do it.

yes, siren, i noticed that freeport wasn't listed and posted it on the closed forums.  we should start a thread here for that too!

Know that others have shared your concern regarding returning players but has so far fell on deaf ears. Maybe that will change. but for now, you will have to pony up money to unlock those cahracters you were unlucky enough to create which were not the incarnation for extended.

I play in the UK, on Splitpaw, I also play on Freeport with wifey.

However in my server list I only have Splitpaw showing, surely with the F2P model taking place then the server list should be combined again?

Or am I missing something obvious?

Huh?  What did I say that led you to believe I am panicking?

Just commenting on the fact that of all the toons i made over the years, only one of them qualifies for the "free" option of this new F2P game.

As for the other stuff, my toons are all there and the slots are all there....  available for me.... if I cough up some gold that is LOL.

I am a paid account, i have access to 25 total slots as of yesterday. If i keep paying i lose none of those slots, correct?

(I had access to the normal ones for a normal non station access subscription plus i bought several more and won a couple)

Well, I was hoping that I might find a reason to at least goof around with one of my toons now and again without having to re-sub to this game.  At least my Madwand toon is not maxed out in anything, so I can still do some stuff with him.

The whole reason I quit several months ago was lack of content for me and my brother to play.  With the exception of Mercs, I really see nothing in this new expansion that interests me.  I have no problem paying for things that are worthwhile (I've spent probably $250 on WoT in the past 7 months... another F2P game)  but I won't shell out coin just to be at the same place I was in March... bored with nothing I want or can do in the game.

Trying to keep an open mind though and haven't rage nuked any of my toons yet

But SWTOR is out in a couple of weeks and im preordered & ready to go.  EQ2 is gonna have to offer me soemthing of value to get me to open my wallet up again, that's for sure.

Having same issues. I am a paid subscriber to EQ2, a year at a time, and always have been. I have 6 toons on my account and 4 of them are locked, saying they are beyond my character limit, ugh.. not! LOL  I pray, one day, sony can do a major patch/expansion "without" fail ... *shakes head*

i have 7 characters and 2 open slots available for new characters, but i saw 3 got lock padded and wonder if they took away 2 slots? well, it been paid for and they took away?

i want my money back for those slots if they limited the slots. what i see now is, "bait and switch".

if they still lock them up for days or longer, i might see a massive exodus of account closings, leaving for other games.

it looks not very nice.

In the past, Station Access trumped all other membership etc. dues.  I am not sure where it stands as for "Platinum" but since they get AoD for free, I wonder if the Station Access people will get it for free?  We do pay more than Platinum....

According to that link/article - I should get all of my 13 characters, 500 SC a month, and AoD for free....

I already paid for AoD anywyas (my bad for not noticing the info etc.) but let's see what happens to my account...
