Assassin Epic Weapon (Mythical) Question

I have what is going to seem like a silly question, but I can't find an answer to it anywhere.

I have an assassin that recently hit 90 and I am about to start her Mythical and EC quests. I noticed on ZAM as well as other walkthroughs, it states the following:

Your Mythical Weapon has unique effects which will not work on level 81-90 spells, combats arts or pets. By completing two quests, you may convert your Fabled or Mythical Epic Weason into an Enervated Weapon and add persistent Mythical Effect speels to your knowledge book.

I have done the Mythical/EC on several classes now and none of them have this restriction, they all work with the lastest 81-90 spells (at least the ones I have done/used).

So is this just old outdated information, or am I missing something?

The mythical weapon abilities are for T8 abiliites only. Until you convert it (like it clearly says) and it turns into a spell which then affects all abilities.

Okay, that's what I thought it meant, but I couldn't get anyone on *the other site* to confirm that and since none of the other quest walkthoughs added that note, I wanted to clarify.

I was pretty sure SoE wasn't that silly =)
