You mean like the leaping mounts?  That's ridiculous.  The fairies have wings, the vampires can turn into winged creatures, thus flight.  Frogs and Sarnak still have plain old humanoid legs.

Frogloks don't have leg muscles that powerful, and they aren't imbued with magic like with the excuse the bugs are getting. The Sarnak were never designed for jumping, nor would it be fair to any of the other races, who have nothing to give them a special ability like gliding or leaping or flying.

Because raptors and terrorbirds mesh perfectly with game lore. As for fairness, that was out the window when they announced flight for fae. And it's not ridiculous. They're FROGS. Leaping froglocks would be one of the most awesome features ever released(even appearance). Please do this.

if i understood it correctly, arasai and fae are going to be able to "HIDE MOUNT", which means that they still need to achieve level 85 and then go thru that whole questline.  there's nothing "unfair" abt it.  its silly that they need a mount to fly and now that flying is in the game, it seems like the right thing to do.

vampires turn into bats but dont they have to be level 85 too?

The fae/arasai flying quest will be just like the freeblood one, must be lvl 85/86 and complete the quest just like everybody else who did the quest for the griffon. Theres nothing unfair about it, its just an aesthetic/lore thing. What it boils down to is that if you want to fly, either buy a pegasus or do a drawn out questline. period.

if you want to leap, get a leaper mount. its not nearly as time consuming a quest as the flying mount.

you can have that as long as my griffon and terror bird can put your frog on the dollar menu for lunch. Please do this

You know what, I think leaping frogloks is a great idea. I don't even play any froglok characters, but I genuinely think letting frogloks leap (after a quest, much like the fae will have to do), would be really fun. Fully support the idea!

LOL - long as they take some fall damage SMILEY  It would be rather humerous seeing froglocks hurling through the air.

You already know I think this is a great idea ! I just don't understand why some folks think frogs don't jump all of a sudden , now I would never expect to see a dinosaur jump period , let alone see kemonodragons glide . Frogs jump , that's just reality .

I'm not sure about the lizards, but I think it would be awesome for frogloks (and I don't play either races ).  Good idea

Aww, just find a way to get their animations to sync with the others! They can totally look good with a properly straight(er) back, the raptor mounted animation is proof!

No.  And why the hell would sarnak or kerra be able to jump at all higher than normal?

He figures the whole "Cats always land on their feet" and "are good jumpers" thing. That applies to the quadraped animals known as cats, not the bipedal race known as Kerra who are only feline in appearance.

I do think this is a bit of a slippery slope... on the one hand, we're told racial traits are going to be reworked and that they should be relatively minor bonuses... on the other hand, we're definitely giving three races (fae/arasai/vampires) the ability to fly without a mount, and talking about giving another the ability to leap without same. I do think it may lead to a lot of issues and questions (If fae can fly, then shouldn't my high elf get _____? etc.), and am not sure it's a great idea for that reason. Many of the people I know would prefer to be able to fly without having to ride a mount (superman image not withstanding).

Man, I miss the old days when we didn't have all of the "I want this because they got that" mentality...oh wait, nevermind...this is how it has always been...

Yeah, it really has always been that way. SMILEY  I'm not saying that's a good thing... just that the backlash will come.  It's a bit understandable that people might get upset if race selection suddenly becomes more important, 8 years in.  (I'm thinking of the same outrage with the first or second racial traits revamp, where some races got much better abilities than others)

Giving frogloks an appearance mount that functions like a hidemount feature with leapers is hardly an important gameplay advantage. Its purely cosmetic.

Isn't a limited safe fall already one of their racial traits?

Because of erroneous and baseless associations?

IMO, y'all should've scrapped the Sarnak and just introduced droag as a playable race. Rework the models and whatnot.
