![]() My laptop crashed a few hours ago while EQ2 was running. I just left it off and turned it back on. Now for the last 20~ minutes it's given me this when I try to login the game. When I go into the file folder and try to manually start it from EverQuest2.exe this pops up EverQueset II has detected an unrecoverable error and must shutdown. 009623f6 0096b64c I even tried reinstalling the game from the destiny of velious download and it a) won't recognize that I already have EQ installed so IT won't re-install/repair b) a full manual re-install won't start the launcher it gives me the message: Sorry, there was an error initializing LaunchPad. Please make sure you are connected to the internet I haven't done any windows updates and there haven't been any changes to my firewall. I've also rebooted my laptop a few times. HELP! |

![]() Here's an update. I took the DoV.exe installer and put it right into the eq2 folder then ran it. It recognized the game (finally) and allowed me to reinstall/repair option. So I clicked that and it's now re-downloading the entire game. So far 2.9 gigs of 12.4 gigs. Hopefully this works. |

![]() Let me know how it works out and we'll troubleshoot further if necessary.

![]() I just wanted to update. Once the files were downloaded the play option became available immediately and I was able to login with no issues. My assumption is a file was damaged when my laptop crashed originally. I'm glad this worked! |
