Hide mount options

I like to use "hide mount during combat" on some toons and "never show mount" on others; however, when I switch between toons it always reverts to whatever the last option chosen was rather than whatever setting I'd chosen for that particular character. Can this setting be tweaked so it always uses the last setting chosen for each character?

It would be cool if it was per character, but since it is (at least currently) a global setting it will be all characters on the account rather.
