Hello,

I decided to try the 14-day trial of EQ2. 

I created a station account, and I can login to my account on the internet using my username and password.

I clicked the download link to download the 14-day trial EQ2 client, and I downloaded something called "launcher_setup".

When I run "launcher_setup", a logon window appears and asks me to enter my station username and password: when I do this, I'm given the error message "Unable to login, check station name or password".

I'm entering the same username and password as I do to logon to my station internet account - any ideas what the problem is ?  I'm based in the UK and am running Win7.

Greetings,

That error should only happen if there's a problem with the username or password.  Please keep in mind that the name and password are case sensitive.  Besides that, the most common cause for this problem would be blank space(s) after the station name.  Try placing your cursor at the end of your station name and hold the delete key for several seconds to be sure.
