Dear Developers:

I would like an area of housing in the game to be designed for the High Elf class. Right now the only "elf" like places are Kelethin and Eldar Grove. But, I'd like a housing area say off of Eldar Grove for High Elves. Really anywhere would be nice.

Not to copyright infringe or anything, but an area like Rivenvale from Lord of the Rings  would be nice. Large, spacious marble stone with ivy and water features, greenery accents with soft lighting, and terraces with pillars. The graphics used for the character select screen would be ideal.

I would love a 5 to 6 room home that I could afford on the Bazaar server for my toon to have there. The Qeynos 5 room houses or the 6 room acorns in Kelethin are the biggest that you have. The tiered guild halls for personal residences are not an option as they do not have the look I am searching for. If I could hand draw the ideas I have and send them to you, I would. I only need an address and contact name.

Can or are you going to create new housing like this for players? I guess it would mean creating a good and evil housing zone of this type.

Thank you.

The idea is great. We desperately need new housing and more items count. The acorns lack an open space and windows and the qeynos housing (5 rooms) dont have open spaces, it would be sooooo nice to have a garden, a real garden area to play with. I thank you all for the fantastic job and the fun we had and will keep on having with the mini events, but we need more space to place the items.

Is there a way I could post scanned images to this post? Then I could scan drawings.

Yep, click the little "picture" icon on the edit header when you are writing your message.  Its a square showing a green tree with grass on the icon, a few icons to the right of the font settings.  You'll need to host your images somewhere like Flickr or Photobucket, then just click the "picture" icon and enter the image URL.

I do have to say though, as much as I am addicted to in-game housing and decorating, I wouldn't consider adding additional housing areas as an "urgent" request SMILEY.   But there have been teasers from devs regarding some upcoming housing stuff that I am hoping will include more housing options SMILEY.

True about "urgent", but I just didn't know how else to make it stand out. I do want the developers to read it. Thanks for the instructions on how to post images. I'll get to drawing. SMILEY

A number of us have been *hoping* for quite some time for Koada'Dal housing and items (waves to Anordil)...  Felwithe is my favorite zone, because it feels like home to me.  It is a terribly under-utilized zone currently and would be PERFECT to give back to the Koada'Dal!!!  If the zone can't be used, at least the architecture, etc.?!

There was a post a while back that suggested mini-castles and the poster worked very hard to include screenies...anyone remember that?

Free Felwithe in '09!!!

Found my furniture post: http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=439721

Good heavens, yes. I'm tired of living in Qeynos and quite honestly the rustic charm of Kelethin palls upon me rapidly. There are a great many people who would dearly love to have New Tunaria (the Koada'Dal home city of Felwithe) as a habitable zone. I, for one, would camp at the zone line the night before, take the day off, and rush in the moment the servers went live if they ever did that. My guild's hall would suddenly move, too.

Unfortunately, there are quest lines and such that exist in New Tunaria (but does anyone really do them any more?), so it seems unlikely that we'll get it back. But, we never know. Perhaps if we ask nicely (and stridently), we'll have a Free Felwithe. Goodness knows, with the developments in TSO, it would seem that NOW is a perfect time to free Felwithe.

FREE FELWITHE '09!

FREE FELWITHE! I agree!

There is a zone that you are talking about. It is where the character select screen gets its background from. Currently though, it is a mob zone with quests like you said. BUT - it has the waterfalls and achitecture that is right. If they could duplicate it say into a city that is habitable, then it would work. Just change it up a bit. Perhaps a story line where a small faction of High Elves have joined with the Qeynos faction as a New Tunarian Alliance (for good side) and a small extreme faction that has joined with Freeport faction (for evil side). It would be a realtively small zone the size of South or North Qeynos with the normal city amenities and with housing.  Of course, there would have to be a beautiful Temple of Tunare and lavish gardens.

I am with you! I would camp out and move in the moment it went live!

It's the loveliest zone in the game, New Tunaria, and no one goes there since the quest content is lackluster.

While I'm happy that Halas is coming back for all of my barbarian friends, it's insulting that the Koada'Dal are still refugees. Bleh.

As Cato the Elder would've said, 'Furthermore, it is my opinion that Felwithe should be a player city.'

With the revelations related to Lenya and Marcus Thex from TSO, we're at a perfect point for the Devs to say, 'Right, let's revamp New Tunaria and make it a player city.'

As it is now, does anyone still visit New Tunaria to quest? I certainly have never been through there on a raid.

At any rate, we can only ask nicely that they consider this. It'd be a much welcome addition.

As Cato the Elder would've said, 'Furthermore, it is my opinion that Felwithe should be a player city.'

I visit there to cry.

Honestly, all they have to do is take "New Tunaria: The Dungeon" and shove it's entrance into a portal near a revamped Felwithe > : (

I visit the temple of Tunare and wander round killing the vampires when they show up. I am, after all, a templar of Tunare. Frankly, they could eliminate the 'dungeon' version entirely. Why not have quest line to unlock the city as a player city like the Frogloks were unlocked? :-/

Oh, but wait, we'd need an evil city to balance things. Or not. Since we've waited this long for Halas.

Furthermore, it is my opinion that Felwithe should be a player city.

hehe, I'm taking the approach of Cato the Elder, Josgar, who finished his speeches in the Roman Senate, 'Furthermore, it is my opinion that Carthage must be destroyed.' Eventually, there was another Punic War and Carthage was destroyed. SMILEY

*evil grin*

If you want to live in a beautiful city founded by (albiet former) koada'dal royalty... move to Neriak.

heh but seriously I too would like to see Felwith have something done with it. It is soooo beautiful and it really is underused and not appreciated.

I must agree, I'd LOVE to live in Felwithe, it is such a beautiful zone, whoever designed it should get a designer's award. SMILEY It really should be open to be appreciated more.

I have good news. The idea for Felwithe has been passed on to the powers that be.  This does not mean that they will do anything with it, but that it will be looked at.

It's so wonderful to have a game where the developers look at ideas from players and player feedback!

I'm hoping they will like it.

* I'll check out that post "Throwing A Pearl Away" in Zone & Population thread.  Thank you, Anordil! The more feedback, the better.

I'll throw my 2 cents in here.  I dont know if its something they would really consider doing but it would be the best thing they ever did!  Can you imagine the homes in Felwithe?  /Dreams On!

I am SO supporting this movement!!!!! Casta IS a HE and a direct descendent of the royal line. While I may be snooty at times because of my heritage, as a member of the royal bloodline it is my responsibility to uphold our beliefs. Although my Qeynos home is nice, it is far below my standards and I would love to be able to properly display my lineage in a home located in Felwithe, the city of my ancestors.

to add to the above poster -

I never did get how the trolls reclaimed grobb and now stand side by side with frogloks (guards)  in moors.

As a 5 year troll from eq1 who on the day we lost grobb just sat there killing as many frogloks as I possibly could for hours on end it boggles me how tso wiped that away - personally, I still find that complete BS - no lore can just explain that and make it all better... trolls eet frogs end of story.

also - the iksar is just a small little point of interest in fens now (ruins of cabalis) which I suppose someday could be turned into a pretty cool dungeon.

-

anyway on track with the thread - Felwithe, indeed pretty city, but as was mentioned - you give one back, then the gnomes will be all [Removed for Content] - then the dwarves..

but making more starting cities seems like a HUGE waste of resources, likewise with altering player housing. the second guild halls were put in, they changed everything. like plane of knowledge did back in eq1.

I for one gate back to neriak for only 2 reasons..  to go to shard of hate, and to pay rent on my house which I never use anymore aside from the broker. The rare occasions I step out in south/west/north FP or neriak and do a who, I will get:

1 player found

then again I am on runnyeye, and the population there is dwindling.
