It seems like Inq is one of the least played classes on pvp from all the population logs I've seen.  Are they viable?  I want to play an Inq or Templar.  I'd rather play Inq since they are the second least played class, but if Templar is that much better I don't see the point.  Any help would be appreciated.  I'm just returning after quitting a few weeks after pvp went live.

Thanks,

In the right hands Inqs can be utterly beastly.

Brief but to the point.  Thanks for the info, looks like I'll roll an Inq.

You will not be a healing god like the Warden, or Templar, but what you lack in heals, you make up for in DPS, or utility. Your root is also a stifle, you get a castable fear, you can cure your own mez (with your Mythical you can keep an entire group cured with ease), and once you get the end TSO line you'll never live without Fanatical Devotion.

Aye I've always heard very nice things about inqs, especially melee ones. Very nice dps+the balance of a healer. I recommend to roll one, as you will also stand out as a unique class.

Note the highlighted part.

If you solo alot, Inquisitor is a solid choice. If you group more, then templar is where it's at. More heals, bigger heals and sanctuary.

Templar can also be specced for DPS. Almost every DPS option that Inquisitors get, Templars can get also (AA wise) all Templars miss out on is the Battle Cleric line to turn our spells into CAs. In exchange, we get alot more damage on our spells.

All said, I'd say the Inquisitors are more of a middle ground. Templars can be geared/specced to do more DPS than an Inquisitor, or they can be specced to heal for alot more. They can't do both as effectively as an Inquisitor though.
