![]() Hey all, Just upgraded my account from the trial, Didnt have to repatch anything it was all good and was playing fine. My husband just upgraded his account and now when he tries to log into the everquest regular game it says that he has a 14hr download! It's trying to download the game all over again. I've tried all i can think of to get it to stop but for some reason it doesnt seem to be reading the game, despite the fact that just 5 minutes ago he was in the game and playing just fine. What can i do to fix this? Can i delete the station launcher and redownload it, will that fix things? please help, we really want to play together tonight. |

![]() Most likely you have the Launcher pointing to the wrong directory on your harddrive. Check the properties on the shortcut you use. If that looks good and you are using the Beta Launcher, then you need to repoint it to the correct directory. The first time you launch a game using the Beta Launcher it will generally ask you questions about where the game is installed. If you have EQ2 installed in any directory other than default then you need to probably use the manual browse function to find and connect the Launcher with the game in the appropriate location. If none of that works or makes sense then I'm at a loss. |

![]() Assuming you haven't already corrected this issue, then you might want to check your options in the station launcher as well. Open the 'Options' drop menu in the station launcher and then select 'Preferences'. You should see Everquest 2 listed on the page that opens. Select Everquest 2 and it will display your install location at the bottom of the screen. If that is not where you originally installed the game then you can click on the 'Change Install Location' button to redirect it to the correct location. Let us know if you're still having trouble.
