Not entirely sure this is the best place to post this... but what the heck.

On the TSO box, it mentions "Epic Weapon Advancements".  Are these in the game already?  If so, does anyone know where to look to get started on this?

On a bit of a different note, but related since it's also stated on the box... it calles the dire bear mount a "mount and pet".  I don't see how it's a pet.  Just a mount... or am I missing something?

At low levels the bear is just a pet, as you go up in levels it switches to a mount which gets faster as you level.

Ah. Guess I'll have to claim it on a lowbie then.

So anyone know anything the epic mentions?

The wording is ambiguous.  Don't be surprised if they meant "the character advancement of getting your epic weapon."

I'd guess the Ethernaut rewards.

That's a really good question -- the epic weapons were already in-game. To me it *implies* you can advance your existing epic weapon. I don't think either the fabled or mythical versions of any epic are subpar, but it sure sounds like they were supposed to get better ...

I'd 've bought "epic advancements" (absent the word, "weapon") would just refer to the new Shadow Achievements.

The Ethernauts [collection] rewards are certainly not "epic".

The signature line rewards ... I guess that's what they must mean by an "epic weapon". I don't think they're on the scale of Prismatics (at the time they were on-top). An they don't "advance".

Yup, I'd love to hear from a PR/dev as to what they meant.

Any new word on what the heck this was supposedly about?  I've tried to keep my ear to the ground for any news on it, but have no idea what the heck was the intended meaning behind "Epic Weapon Advancements".

Right now, I have to assume it's either something that got scrapped, or something that will be put in the game at a later date... But who knows without some sort of confirmation.

Well the developers could mean "complimentary item" to "enhance" your epic weapon you already have.  The complimentary item being the reward from the chapter quests of the TSO signature line.  Atleast that's what i'm getting from it really.

I think people are forgetting that the Expansion is sold as an all in one pack, the DVD's have the whole game on them.  The mention of Epic weapons I think was just a somewhat poorly worded way of mentioning that epic weapons exist in the game, that's all.  My take on it anyway.

The faster epics get buried the better.
