![]() ...help with the shammie casting bug. Many people claim to crash but very few have posted. Could you try to spare a moment after you crash to update his thread? http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=443087 I've posted a couple of times but I've been raiding on my alt dirge a lot recently partly due to this, and a mystery ailment on Splitpaw that seems to be making bards incapable of logging on... |

I haven't had crashing issues but have had lag spikes. Does this apply as well?

![]() nope - this is a very specific crash that makes life crap for a small sub-set of shammies. There are huge long posts in the support boards about it. Look on the Support Boards and you will see it. |

![]() It's really not even a crash, in the SOE world. It's a freeze. What happens, in most cases, a Shaman is casting a Ward, and right when the casting bar gets full, the everquest2.exe just freezes. Completely unresponsive. Sometimes you can alt tab out, sometimes not. You may have to reboot, you may be able to kill the process, but it is always a fatal disconnect. To SOE, it's only a "crash" if you get booted to desktop and an error box pops up. That's splitting hairs a bit too fine in my book, but that's their definition.
