From the scuttlebutt I've heard it sounds to me like the guild halls are only for the uber-rich, raiding guilds which leaves out about 90 percent of the Live players and everyone on Test lol.

The price changes and teleport possibilites Rothgar posted about will help at least somewhat. Having a new, different floorplan design for the tier 1 5-room Guild Houses is another really good thing. So overall it's moving in the right direction. With those changes most guilds on live will get something nice and new for their money. *cheers* (Yes, I still think paying 52 % of your houses purchase price in taxes and assessments every year is *cough* insane, but if players are happy with that math, I'm just the cat.)Test is a completely different issue, but it always has been, and that's part of it's charm... I don't see myself changing my playstyle to make money of the testers, so I'm pretty much accepting the fact that there will be no GH for this tester.I assume that in order to test the functionality of the new GHs we will have to rely on a QA coming over and making a level 70+ guild which we can join temporarily. Better than not getting it tested at all. Now... how many months has it been since a QA has been sighted on Test Server? Purr~

Perhaps they will give a bot giving status and money on Test Copy ? When I copied Whilhelmina over she was copied with the guild tag and guild capacities (level 53 guild), so it would be nice to be able to really test those guild halls. But I don't have such a huge amount of plats/status to test (and not nearly enough). Yes, a bot giving personnal status/guild status/platssss on test_copy would be a nice addition to test this without breaking the regular test server. What do you think ?

I'm looking forward to buying one; not sure how long it'll be kept, given the upkeep charges, but the bots of various functions sound wonderful!

Heh, the bots and such are a tad pricey... check out the cool guild hall & amenity cost calculator someone made from the fan faire (and updated costs) info. http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...id=427350 When I checked off all the stuff I "really" wanted, it was only going to cost me 345plat and 59.5 million status... for a T1 hall [Removed for Content]. Sigh, gonna have to start off a bit slow I guess SMILEY

But at least now I know we'll be able to get one when my Live guild hits 30, and hopefully on Test as well.
