So, my little coercer toddled on up to TT the other day and went to grab a pet. Bloond....can't charm...Sentries...can't charm. What is the logic between what can and can't be charmed?

Powerful named mobs cannot be charmed, quest named mobs or quest mobs that only spawn a few at a time generaly can't be charmed and lastly some mobs that produced very good dps or very high hp pool have also be stripped from our charmable mobs list. In Tenebrous Tangle your better off charming a Froglok Wizard, set him to /pet ranged and root nuke. The Squalburst Drakes on breeding grounds are decent also.

Yeah reet wizards are probably the best option to charm in TT. I would encourage you to go to New Tunaria and run around invis learning the zone. Servants of Mistmoore are spectacular pets and you can just fly through the elf mobs there, and the cash loots are pretty darn good cash for the 2 nukes it takes to kill anything there. Once you're just about tapped out on killing stuff there you'll be all set to go to bonemire and start charming corpse candles.
