![]() OK, i play a mage class, and i keep wondering to myself, WHy is it Warlock alone get focused casting, Do all the oteher mages have any less dedication to their craft? no they don't, focused casting should be avalible to all Casters warlock alone should not have it, i mean for god sake summoners need it. The spell should not be an AA it should be more like a Stance, like any other stance, you know and i know warlocks get enough, why not give some thing to the other casters, as it stands warlocks are the only class that truley stands a fighting chance with the way resists and root immunites are, and with focused casting they are able to handle most thing. GIVE ALL CASTERS focused casting Have it as a level 70 or 80 spell, other casters need it, why shoulodnt they get it, all caster are able to focuse their power to their will, it is just wrong that only warlocks get it. |

Why do summoners need it, They have fast casting already, That is one thing they don't need.Warlocks get it due to the fact they cast super slow base speed, That is it.

![]() it is not so much the casting speed it gives, its the fact you are immune to interupts, that is what all casters need, as it stands once target is in melee range like they will always be due to resists and cure all potions... we are dead, we cant land a spell and when up close we cant cast a spell due to insance interupts. |

Personally, I use Focused casting for the decreased cast times. I have potions to use for interupts and null caress for when they get too close to me. FC, is about the only way to kill a healer for me. Burn baby burn. |

![]() Stuns, stifles, and mezzes still prevent casting, as does any sort of knockback effect. You can still be interrupted, just not by a focus check or an interrupt effect. The aa has been around since November 2006, i'm fairly certain that if soe intended more casters to have it, it would have happened by now.

But right now of all the mage classes warlocks are sitting pretty because of Focused casting + manashield + Null caress + regenerating ward on magi shielding. No one else comes even close to that. It's not that anyone of those should be hit with the nerf bat, but rather than SOE must be more sensible and share the wealth a bit. There's no reason why Enchanters should not have manashield. They need it every bit as much as sorcerors do.Personally, I use Focused casting for the decreased cast times. I have potions to use for interupts and null caress for when they get too close to me.
